Japanese Sake Marinated Steak Rice Bowls

Terri-Anne of Carrotsticks and Cravings family loves Japan and especially, the food. These Japanese Sake Marinated Steak Rice Bowls are an easy favourite of ours, that ensures the kids get their protein and green leafy vegetables!
INGREDIENTS
- 400 grams The Meat Club Tenderloin Eye Fillet Steak
- ¼ cup sake
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 red chilli – diced
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp tamari
- 2 cups cooked mixture of brown and wild rice
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ chopped red chilli
- 1 clove garlic
- Handful snow peas
- 8 mushrooms
- 6 bok choy
- 3 spring onions
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
PREPARATION
- Marinate the steaks with sake, sesame oil, chilli, garlic and tamari for a minimum of 4 hours.
- Cook rice and set aside for serving.
- In a grill pan or BBQ grill eye fillet for 2-3 minutes each side for medium rare and allow to rest for a further 2 minutes before slicing.
- While steaks are resting quickly stir fry the vegetables in a pan with chilli, garlic and a dash or tamari for flavor – add sesame seeds and serve with rice, sliced beef and vegetable mix.
